The Sims 2.
7.2 Out of 10

From the creators of games like the Sims and Sims Urbz comes an all new game for the Nintendo DS. The Sims 2 for the Nintendo Ds allows you to create your own character for the game. The story begins with your car breaking down in a local town called strange town. Throughout the game you will be set various tasks varying from collecting nuclear fuel rods to vacuuming up ghosts. There is never one boring moment in strange town you will constantly doing missions. After you first few missions you become the manager of the hotel. Then your aim is for a 100% perfect hotel. You will have to please a variety of customers varying from Evil cow worshiping Goths to leaders of the local mob.

Even after you complete the missions the game still goes on through endless tasks such as fighting off evil robots. After you complete the game you will own the town. So then no one will boss you about.

This game is possible one of the best games to hit the Nintendo DS world. I have personally just completed the game and I thought it was brilliant.

Graphics: 9
The Graphics on “The Sims 2” is excellent. I had a few glitches in the games were I had to restart my character. I thought for the DS the graphics were probably pushed to the max in “Sims 2.” The graphics is a lot better than “Sims 1” on PC.

Style: 4
the style of this game was nothing that new. I think “The Sims” was a good idea once it started but it has become slightly repetitive.

Sound: 7
the sound on this game is very good. If you don’t like the Music that is preset in the game after a while in the game you are given the option to make your own music. I made several of my own tracks on the game. If you electro music you will like making your own music.

Interactivity: 10
the interactivity on this game is absolutely excellent. The stylus use for you is superb the really cracked it this time. Not many of the Nintendo DS games have got the stylus use this good. You are either doing the vacuuming up or putting out fires with a water pistol or even just chatting with a friend. Creating your own music is another feature on the game. At certain times in the game you will get a chance to create music for you hotel to play. You can even create little annoying ring tones like the crazy frog or sweetie the chick. Painting is one of the great features in the game. Once you have built the art gallery you will be able to create your own masterpieces and put them in your gallery. The better the painting the more money you earn once its sells.

Humour: 6
I found this game rather amusing from the putting out fires with your own water pistol to the crazy text messages you get on your phone you will always have a smile on your face. The thing that tickled me the most was seeing my character dressed up as the raticator who is the town’s local super hero.

This game took me a while to complete but it is all ways very rewarding when you complete a game without any help or cheats. I hope that there will be a follow up for the Sims 2 on DS but if they were to make some minor story adjustments to making slightly different in style it would be an even better game than Sims 2
