Yes, all of the above points accumulate to a great gaming experience for people of all age, as long as you love football then you will simply adore this game. Put your tactics to the test as you take control at the helm of your favourite club and take charge of those athletic men that have been your idols throughout your entire footballing life. You can take control of a huge range of teams and you can have numerous job expectations: you could be asked to save your club from relegation or in contrast you could e expected to win your respective league, perhaps finish in the top half; whatever the job description you have to make sure you fulfil your expectations or you could find yourself in danger of facing the sack. There is also an extensive stadium building option, working within your budget you can build a bigger stadium to increase the income of your gate receipts and in the long run increase your clubs overall finances making them a bigger team. You can build one from scratch or use ready made stadiums that fit your club’s criteria; you can rename it to anything you want also. There is a detailed search option too, where you input numerous criteria for your desired player and it scans the LMA Manager 2002 player database for suitable candidates and from those you can select the one you want to ring to your club, which has a maximum of 32 players within its squad. The match simulations are great and really capture the atmosphere of a standard football match. A great game which I fully enjoyed, a quality buy however nowadays there are better games around, and upgrades of this current game. Recommended buys include LMA Manager 2006 in which you can create your own fantasy football team and within a certain budget bring your favourite stars to your very own, fully customizable club. A great addition to what I have to say is already a quality game. If you get your training schedule correct then your players will improve and develop, the training schedules are incredibly extensive too.
Gameplay
This aspect is simple, if your one of the many football mad fans then you will absolutely love this game. It epitomises the complex world of footie. It is any persons dream to take complete control of their favourite team and be in charge of their idols, the gameplay in this is astounding and there is a vast array of options and factors in this game you’ll absolutely love to complete. The match simulations are terribly realistic and really capture the atmosphere of a football match, a great aspect to the game. You possess your own laptop and are presented with numerous situations such as injuries, prize money, training updates and more…a good aspect to the game.
Graphics
The match simulations have good graphics are good but after a while you notice that they are not random and some goals seem familiar, but the actual graphics are good. The other graphics in the game are appealing and are not unattractive and don’t disgrace the game at all.
Audio
There are few sounds in this game however the main sounds are the in game crowd sounds. Some of these resemble real life chants but most of these sounds are not specific; they are just random yells with no specific meaning. I feel that the sounds capture the atmosphere of the game well, however the game could be greatly improved by having some real life football chants or songs. It would improve the overall experience.
Durability
Any football fan could play this game all day. If you don’t like football then do not get this game.
