Need For Speed: Most Wanted is a 1st class game. It beats the previous games buy more than a mile. The cars that are in the game are just superb. The Mclaren Mercedes SLR, Dodge Viper, BMW M3 GTR these cars are just far better than what used to be almost the best car in Need For Speed Underground 2, Ford Mustang. This game has more of a story to it. The Blacklist was a great idea to put in the game rather than sponsership and the underground racing league. Challenge mode is also a very good idea in the game. When you get bored you have something to do.
Police Chases: This has got to be one of the best things in the whole game, getting a chase from the police. It is only boring at heat level 1,2 and maybe 3. But when you hit heat level 4, thats when the action starts. Heavy SUV's trying to smash you off the road. Spike road blocks, very annoying when you have a lot of bounty points and completed milestones and you lose all off it because you get busted. Also a helicopter comes into action, the only way to lose the helicopter is to go into a long tunnel so it can't see you. Although it only has a limited amount of fuel so it will be on the scene for 5 minutes or so and then it will go away and come back later. Heat level 5(the highest level of heat in the game except from one point when you have heat level 6 for the very last chase of the story mode,when you are cruising about and the poice come after you then there will be no higher than heat level 5 on you), avoid if you can, (even though it is very hard to do so) this is when Cross's corvette driving squad come into the action. This is the most skilled unit in the game. At this point when back up comes there will be 25 cars trying to take you down. Cross also comes into action aswell. You get a seirous amount of bounty points if you take him out.
Gamebreakers: There are new gamebreakers in this game. While you are being chased from the police then it can be quite hard to lose them. But the creatersof the game have helped us out a little. There are red triangles of the map while being chased. If you go to these red triangles then it will be something like a watertower, construction site etc. If you bring these things down the the cars thats are on your tail.
Hideouts: When you lose the police that are on your tail then you will enter cooldown mode but the police are still looking for you so you will need somewhere to hide. While in cooldown mode blue circles appear on the map, if you go to these blue circles then it will be something like a garage or a car wash or somewhere that the police will not be able to see you. This makes the cooldown bar reach the top of the bar faster and when the bar reaches the top then the police are off you completly and you can do what you want. As I have already said this is a high quality game and one of the best games to be released in 2005. It is far superior to the previous Need For Speed games but saying that the other games are very good but Need For Speed Most Wanted is the best game out of them all. I hope that the creaters of this game bring out an even better Need For Speed later this year.
