This game is an excellent game. It is definitely different from GTA San Andreas. If you like Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, you might like this game. Both Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty Stories use the same game engine. The controls are about the same.
Some of the mini games in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty Stories are borrowed from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. These include Paramedic, Firefighter, Vigilante, and others. New mini games include Noodle boy, car salesman, bike salesman, scooter shooter, and many others.
Noodle boy is about performing drive-bys at customers with the noodles. This one is a bit tricky. Car salesman is taking a customer for a test drive and using your driving skills to impress your customer depending on what he or she wants in a car. The same is with bike salesman. My favorite mini-game is scooter shooter because you are the rider on a faggio with a driver. You use your Uzi to shoot targets which are other vehicles. Try not to get too much damage on your bike or else it will explode. And also make sure you do not kill your driver or else the mission is over. As you kill more targets, your prize money gets higher and the targets get progressively harder to kill. After the first few levels, the targets will have someone in the back shooting at you. Try to avoid damage to your bike by shooting the shooter on the target before attacking the vehicle.
There are a few glitches in this game. One includes having your PCJ 600 stuck in the corner of two walls and then it is hard to ride on it. A new feature in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is the ability to ride trains from district to district on an island. One time was trying to ride the train to get away from a gang chasing me and when I rode it, I was outise of the train the whole time. My body was stuck to the side of the train during the whole ride.
There are also 100 hidden packages in the game as there are in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. The weapons are the same also. Driving in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty Stories will take a little to get used to. You also have to get used to doing drive-bys.
There are many cheats you can download. Because of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty Stories' glitch, people were able to hack into the games' save file and change its values. One example is the Cheat Device by Edison Carter which lets you press L and Up which will pop up a menu. Its cheats include infinite life and armor, flying cars, ability to use bikes to drive on walls, and many others. The best part is that the cheat device is always updated. You can also add your own cheats by downloading CheatSync and add the cheats into your PSP's Cheat folder. Many people in the modding community have come up with creative cheats for the game including the ability to shoot rockets while you are on a bike. You can download the Cheat Device from PSP updates.
Fanjita, a hacker, has made an eloader for Grand Theft Auto: Liberty Stories by hacking into its save file. This lets you run some homebrew on your firmware version 2.60 PSP. The newest update has fewer bugs. You can also download the homebrew and eloader from PSP updates also.
The only downside of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty Stories by Rockstar Games is its loading times. Although this is the first game that Rockstar Games has made for the PSP, this game is doing very well for being its first release. Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is doing the best in its class.
There are rumors that Rockstar is coming out with Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for PSP. PSP Magazines said that Rockstar has made patents for the name Grant Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. For all you Grand Theft Auto lovers, please wait for it.
