I cannot personally belive that I have not yet writtain a review on this once fantastic game, Grand theft auto san andreas.
This is the third 3D installment of the truely greatest game in history, Grand Theft Auto.
In the game you are a man named Carl Johnson.
Five years ago you escaped the prussures of gang war and General violence of living in nineties los santos (Los Angeles) in The state of san andreas (calafornia and navada)
But now you have returned to you "homies in your home city to pick up where you left off.
you then Find a corrupt cop named officer Tenpenny and his cop buddie Paulaski, have pretty much surpressed your gang. He is then Framed for the murder of a police officer and hides in his old home.(they use this as an excuse as to why you cannot leve the city later on)
That is where he finds that his mother has died and his little brother has been killed and it is left to you, Bug Smoke, Rider and your brother Sweet to Bring your gang right back up to the top.
Ok now that is explaned, heres the game.
You are an about 6ft black man named Cj. You are part of a gang named the grove street families.
In this game a hell of a lot has been impoved. One of the first thing you will notice is the camera is now fully moveable around CJ so you can see him from any angle.
One of the second kool things you will notice is that there are now bikes (you will notice it first because it is at the start of the first mission just as a faggio was at the start of GTA Vice city. These bikes can be ridden at high speeds and the more you increese your cycling skill the higher you will be able to "bunny hop" This is a large jump pulled of on your bike, BMX, or chopper.
(chopper bike, not helicopter)
Something elce the game will explain in the first few missions is that CJ now has to eat! You can eat at the varios fast food resturaunts dotted around the vast state. These include, "clucking bell" "Pizza stack" and burger shot" You can also eat at vending mashines and little hotdog cars and taco cars. But you can only eat Junk food. if you eat to much your character will become fat, and if you eat to much all in one go you will puke rite there and then! If you do not eat, CJ will become Tiard lifeless, and above all Muscleless.
A bit more on the muscle now.
CJ has a muscle metre, If you work out in the gyms around the city, yoou can increase your muscle, this means your punches and kicks will have a much better effect.
Also you can work out your stamina. This can be helped by runnig or cycling long distances
or running on a tredmill or work out bike in one of the gyms. This will help CJ sprint or cycle faster for longer.
Another Great new feture is your cloths. These can be baught at varios shops around the state and are many in numbers.
I personally Like having CJ wear, A red beret, Biker jacket, Blue jeans and black boots. But thats me. You can choose from hundreds upon hundreds of cloths to wear.
At the start this alters your respectometer as well as killing Rival gangs and cops.
E.G if you wear green (your gangs colour) it will say in the corner, "respect upgraded." Later on this will enable you to recruit larger gangs for turf wars and the likes.
Turf wars work like this. You get a few of your "homies" folowing you (optional) and you kill three of the rival gang on their turf. Then it will say "you have started a gang war" and the area you are trying to take over flashes red. The enemy come in three waves With many weapons but usally AK47s or 9 milimetres. you must defeat all three waves and then the area will be yours.
You can also be invaded but im not going to go into that.
After you have done the first 30 or 40 missions, the countryside is unlocked where you can parachute of the massive mount chilliad. Then San fierro (francisco) is inlocked where you can charge down hills in fire trucks. Then the desert and Las venturas is unlocked where you can visit "area 69" and get a jetpa... (Ive aid t much! also you can put everything on black in GTAs take on vegas.
There are many twists and turns that im of course not going to tell you! But youl finish the game as I did because if you get this you will be playing 24 hours a day. Seven days a week.
JESUS! If you dont allredy have this game, get it now. Go on. Right now!
