Age of empires three
Age of Empires III takes off right after the last game in this series, Age of Empires 2.
The campaign In age of empires 3 is nice. There are three different thing that players can can do. The first of these puts players in the shoes of Morgan Black and his family to help the Aztecs fight against Spanish conquistadors.
The next one Is the french Indian war.
Then the last one has players taking on the role of Simon Bolivar as he leads various revolutions in South America.
Aswell as thse campaigns, there are many other thing you can do. For example you can make a quick battle.
The best new feature in this game is the Home City. Each civilization in the game has a European city that will back the players up durin the game. This will give you units, supplys, and upgrades to units These are normally dropped off near your town center. When you have finished a campaign, players will be be able to enter their Home City to customize their shipments.
Also a new feture is that you will be able to change the appearance of the buildings, weather, and even the people that are roaming the street.
The are a few other additions to the game, although none of them are as big as the first one. A new addition to the game is when you upgrade to a new Age, you will be able to choose between two different political fractions, Depending on which one that you choose they will provide a one time bonus which comes in the form of supplies, units, or buildings. You will also be able to create alliances with the native tribes, which will offer players some unique abilities that other civilizations will not have access to, such as new Indian warriors that can aid you in your battles that you will fight.
One thing that I personally enjoyed about this game is that you do not have to build any special buildings when you are mining the different resources. Another thing is that in this game all you have to do is send your settlers to the spot and they will start chopping the wood, gathering food, or mining the gold and you will gain the instant benefits.
The graphics in this game are tuely superb. Everything has been taken care of and one thing I particularily noticed was the see just looks so real!
Not only are the new effects purely brilliant. But everything in this game is highly detailed. The terrain is loaded with details. All trees, rock mountains and cliffs have been very well done. If players just take a minute to look around during the course of the game they will also see the attention to details that the developers took.
What is really nice is the attention to detail on all of the buildings in the game.
As to be expected in an Ensemble Studios game, The FX for this game are extreemly good. The music chosen for this game really makes players feel that they are in this time period. No matter what setup you have you will feel the explosions of the cannon balls, the muskets firing and the destruction of a building. It all sounds extremely realistic, and makes the game come that much more alive. The voices that the developers use also fit really well with the setting. I mean, when I evan click the mouse that nice little "clikett" sound it makes is music to my ears.
You will not have a complete collection without this game. Buy it now.
