What an absolutely outstanding game, this has got to be the best football managing game that I have ever played on any console in my entire life. The game is so realistic you can actually imagine yourself out there on the big stage. Being a football fan myself I couldn’t pass up on an opportunity like this, I simply had to buy this game. The game brings in to picture:

-the media
-training schemes
-advanced tactics editing
-manager communication
-youth player advancement
-all the official names tat make football great
-multiplayer action
-accurate and reliable scout searches

These accumulate to an absolutely fantastic game that is a must buy for any football fan out there. It beats its sister games such as Championship Manager 6, LMA Manager 2006, Premier Manager 2005/06, even if their quality was put together. The creators have really lived up to their expectations due to the anticipation of this game after the quality of its predecessor: Football Manager 2005, a game still worth buying if you can’t get your hands on this updated version.

What I liked about this game is that it really tests your managerial skills, your tactics have to be spot on and your training schemes need to be exactly right in order for your player’s attributes to increase. You have to say the right things in the media in order to win matches and you have to keep morale up within your squad. You play on all types of stages Domestic, European and International. It really is a testing and quality game that will keep you hooked to your screen for hours.

What is revolutionary about this game is the youth setup. You and your scouts have the challenge have the trialling task of picking out a team for the next generation. There is a vast database filled with tens of thousands of players in which only a few possess that world class potential. It’s a great enjoyment to watch your discovered hot prospect develop into mature and world class superstar. The transfer market is one of my favourite things on this game. The detailed searches you have to undertake in which you have to pick the right man; the man that is going to complete your team and bring your team forward is absolutely fantastic to participate in. For instance, if your team were showing a lack of strength or aggression, you would have to find a tall, strong player with a good ability in the air, one that is not afraid to put himself about. The fun and enjoyment I get out of doing that cannot be matched by any other feature within the game; and of course its every managers dream to watch his groomed youngsters and loyal servants do the business on the biggest stage of all, the champions league, especially the financial benefit that can be achieved by completing such a task.

The gameplay within this game as I mentioned in above is second to none and I would recommend this game to anyone based solely on the gameplay, it really does set the standards for all managerial simulation games across the board, absolutely fantastic!

The graphics are acceptable and in my opinion the audio is below par, but it can just not bring the game down due to the gameplay and durability being so ruddy awesome. I could play this game for a whole year and not get bored of it. This may be because I am a bit of a footy nut, but it is still a great game.

I recommend any fan of football to buy this game, if you don’t you are severely missing out as I am rating this game 10 out of 10, it has everything I look for in a game. Awesome!

BUY THIS GAME AS SOON AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN
