this game is pretty awsome! its long and has a great stroy line. its a little diffrent from most fianl fantasy games because of its fighting style. however, the story line is not to far off from what u might find in a normal final fantasy game. you start off as a kid having a snow ball fight, but then you get sucked into this book or game or something (srry i havent played the game in a while so my memory is a little rusty). this "bad person" has taken some jewls or and you have to go find them. its a pretty basic final fantasy story line but has those great final fantasy twists to it. the fighting style, like i said, is quite diffrent from any other fianl fantasy game out there. you are basicaly placed on a grid and you move people around and cast spells and do other attack and magical things to people. However, there is a judge type person who watches over each game. after a while you have certain things you can and cant do in certain battles. sometimes you cant use certain types of magic or shoot bows or use certain attacks but what ever it is you cant do it and if u do u get a yellow card. the first time it isnt that bad but if you do the same thing twice well then your sorta in trouble. the judge guy will send that player (the one who did the thing you wernt supposed to) to jail, and you now have to finnish the battle without them. this can become very difficult if there are a main person or if its at the beggining of a battle and you have a ways to go. if you do succed in winning the battle you with out that person you can now go and bail out the person that got sent to jail but u have to pay some money. however there are ways to get rid of these rules and instate some of your own to work against the other team. during your travels you pick up these cards and each card does some thing diffrent. some, like i said, get rid of rules for a certain battle. others, like i said, instate certain rules that both u and the other team (oppents/enemy what ever u want to call them) has to abide by too. this can come in handy say if your fighting a bunch of people who all use bow and arrows. you can put up a no missles card and now everytime one of there team members uses a "missle" or arrow they get a card. sense they are computers they dont ever really stop using them they all just keep firing till all of them are gone. its a great trick to beat people easy. this is a great game and i recomend it to any one looking for a LONG game. like i said its LONG but you dont have to do all the missions. you can only do the ones that advance the stroy if you want and there are also partys of people roaming around that you can fight too. another thing that happens sense this game is so long is that it gets pretty repetitive. you fight the same kind of people in the same kind of areas over and over and over again. but honestly its a good game and i reccomend it too all even if you are not a loyal FF fan. its a great game and i reccomend it.
