I found LMA Manager at the time it was released was typical of all football management simulation games at that time. However, it still failed to capture the realism that epitomised the Championship Manager series. Dispite this I still found the game quite stimulating to play.
The amount of information this game contained was quite considerable but it severely lacked in detail.
My personal favourite part of the game was the ability to view the actual game play of the game. I found this most enjoyable as I could watch the game unfold before my very own eyes.
Overall, I found LMA Manager extremely easy and with any team I played with I won everthing in sight. I even managed to take the smallest team in the 3rd Division and get them promoted every season until they got to the Premiership and then won the Premiership.
Therefore, my enthusiasm for the game quickly disappeared and I became subsequently bored with this game and simply discarded it to the depths of my games collection.
I give this game a rating of 4/10 simply for the fact that it was typical of other games of its time and that for a brief period of my life I enjoyed playing this game!
