This new version of Tombraider once again manages to turn the infamous Lara Croft into an acrobatic, puzzle solving, gun toting heroine.
With a 'matrix' style slow mo' killing action, and a number of other new special moves, the format doesn't seem to be getting tired just yet. I was especially impressed with the checkpoint save system (gone are those horrible green diamonds of days gone by) and pda features.
It was a little disappointing to find that you couldn't explore outside Lara's mansion or really interact with her friends there either, and after you'd gone to all the trouble of getting some new outfits to wear!
All in all I rated this game 8 out of 10 as just a bit of atmosphere seemed to be missing.
