well i bought this game a couple of years back and i was like lol i love this game its great

then i lost it... and now its back on my laptop with a vengance!

well where to start off umm age of empires two starts off with you taking on the roll of william wallace and the scottish and you have to defeat the english.

the other times you play as Joan of Arc, Frederick Barbarossa, and Genghis Khan which i think they done good for in a game.

graphics wise the game is okay for the year it was relesed 1999 but there are a few things they could improve on for example the game needs more storys and missions in it

it has a decent amount of gameplay which will take roughly about a day or two to complete depending on how long you play for
plus you will be amused for hours with the cusom scenario games that the game has to offer and you can also create your own map which is a great thing for these types of games because you can build yourself up wiyth a massive army and let them run riot in the opponents towns and forts.

the game also features a multiplayer feature
which i have yet to play but i will probably enjoy it as much as the other features of the game

my favourite scenario to play on is with william wallace because of my scottish heritige i feel proud to control a man who defeated the english and gave us freedom *starts crying* lol naw not really cryin but you get the jist...

anyways age of empires two was the first game in the aoe series that i had played i have yet to play the first of the third one which i am hoping to get if my computer can get an upgraded processor because its crap one for gaming

if i get a new processor then the first two games i will buy for it are age of empires one and three because the third one looks amazing and of course as many people say you need to play the original to get a feel to the storylines i.e. metal gear solid,devil may cry, and many more

this is a game that is worth buying for all you people out there who like games like warcraft, cossacks , warhammer , command and conquer and other strategy games

i like this game to play the map editor games because when you create an army with thousands of a single unit then you create them with thousands and thousands of a weaker unit then you know that it will be a good battle
