I don't know about you but I found pokemon leafgreen to be a little bit of a let down. With each of the new versions, we found a lot of new features. Berry crushers, Pokemon contests and even real time day and night situations. Then a new pokemon version comes out. the excitement is intense and all about are thrilled. But wait a minute, haven't I seen these grassy plains before countless times? Can't I recite this plot from start to finish like a well read book? WAIT A MINUTE, THIS IS THE SAME THING!!! And so we play the whole game through waiting for something new to happen. It takes us all the way until the closing credits for something interesting to happen. I didn't pay $80 for seven small islands I payed $80 for the myserious, the unknown, the thrill of the new and a whole lot more.
All I can say is that a few new features don't make the game. I admit that the addition of the sevii islands are interesting but what about travelling to other far away lands? Like the Jhoto region?
All in all, this game really wasn't worth it, it'll keep you interested for a few minutes, and maybe a few more if you happen to be able to link with the other versions, but nothing more.
Lets face it, nintendo really let us down with this one
