Rome: total war
Rome: total war was a game that enchanted me as soon as I saw It I imagined I was the soldier on the front cover fighting for my army and for Rome against the tribes and armies that are Rome: total war. I was so excited when I bought this game. I had heard rave reviews about it and all my mates had told me about its great gameplay and realistic battles but I was not taken aback until I actually experienced the full mite of the Roman legions.

Rome: total war is 12+ rating game which may suck if you are a mature ten year old lad into these sorts of games and have unforgiving parents! Rome: total war is developed by the creative assembly and is the best selling in the total war series which includes “shogun: total war” and “medieval: total war”. All these games are turn based mode games where players upgrade their provinces, manage their finances and armies, and handle diplomacy, as what was brought in for Rome: total war.

Word has it creative assembly were working on Rome: total war as soon as they finished making Shogun: total war. All three games are completely different with Rome: total war undoubtedly being the best there is.

You can easily manage vast cities and gigantic battles with the aid of advisors, auto managing and pick-up-and-play controls. You can forge an empire on the revolutionary 3d campaign map with an intuitive display of your cities and armies. As well as command unique units, from carthagian elephants and scythed war chariots to roman war dogs. Using intuitive control.

Caesar says “I came, I saw, I conquered”. This fits the game perfectly. The objective is to gain ultimate control other all factions in complete game control. PCGAMER rated this game a “must buy” game and gave it five stars out of five which is pretty special. You can purchase this game from any game store and most supermarkets. But I recommend online is your best bet.

You can know purchase Rome: total war and Barbarian invasion together for the same price I paid for Rome: total war on its own.

Back on the game:
Advisors:
Victoria (named after the roman goddess of victory) is the campaign advisor, she can advise you about production, recruitment, managing your empire, diplomacy, dealing with the senate, trade and so on.

Centurion Marcus is the battlefield advisor. Apart from the offspring his opinion about enemy tactics, he’ll keep an eye out for potential problems such as putting units into dangerous situations: he doesn’t like it when cavalry are ordered straight onto spear points!

When an advisor has something important to tell you, their portrait will glow. You click on the advisor to see their comments. You can turn advice on or off or have advice preferences from high to none.

The factions: There are 11 playable civilizations and factions on Rome: total war: The Julii, The Scipii, The brutii, Britons, Carthagians, Gauls, Greeks, Germans, Parthians, Ptolemaic Egyptians, and the Seleucids. Each army contains up to 20 military units: any collection of military units is an army that moves and fights together.

Gameplay in Rome: Total war divides neatly into Campaigns and battles. These two parts of the game are closely linked. So actions you take in the campaign game such as constructing buildings, training units or appointing generals have major effects on the battlefield. I like this.
Ok, now I have told you all the basics about this fabulous game, its time for my favourite part of the game, settlements! Settlements are important in your efforts to conquer the world! They generate income through taxes, military units are trained there, and without taking enemy settlements you are unlikely to win the game! So take siege! Settlements are essential if you wish to succeed at this game. There’s a chain “from population to government to building construction to training military units” for each settlement. Without settlements to generate units, you won’t have armies to command!
Well I think that’s all you need to know for know. Now it’s time for you to enter the brutal world of Roman warfare. Yes take the plunge into your pocket and buy this game! It’s well worth the money. Trust.
