This was the fist DDR title I ever owned and I owe it to fantastic songs like "Break Down!" and "End of the Century" for really getting me into the series. DDRMAX 2 is a really fun game with a satisfactory song list. It's not as modern as Extreme 2, however, and reuses bkgd animation on multiple songs. Ultimately, however, I would certainly recommend this game to anyone considering getting into DDR on the PS2. Extreme 2 is a more challenging game with harder steps, the original MAX boasts a poor song list, and Extreme uses a strange menu system for choosing songs. For an entry level player, DDRMAX2 is a solid choice.
