This game has got to be one of the best games I have ever played with a state of the art realist world and so much land to cover you can so easily get lost in it. The best points on thus game are that you are your own person and you get to chose exactly what you want to do and when you do it. The choices are endless you can chose anything from the colour and style of your hair to going out to kill the nearest orc and then fighting off the local police force (guards). Normally I had never liked to play on RPG's such as Halo of Fable but since playing on Morrowind I have seen them in a Whole different perspective and Morrowind is definitely for people who have never played on an Xbox before. You can chose a great house and also as many different smaller guilds to work for, this is when the money starts to rake in and then you can go out and buy yourself your own set of classy armour and a decent weapon.
your main aim in the game is to follow the main story line which is to go deep into the middle of the big fiery mountain (sounds familiar)and kill the evil dark lord who lives there. whether you do this or not is entirely up to you but before you do it is advised that you get all of your stats in your stats screen to there maximum (100)and then you stand a lot greater chance of killing everything and anything.
the fun never ends with Morrowind as you are constantly doing something different one minute you could be working for the thieves guild and going into somebody’s house and stealing something from their bedroom upstairs and the next minute you could be working for the fighters guild and ridding someone’s house of rats. Or Maybe.. Just maybe you could feel quite violent and work for the Morag tong guild. The Morag tong is basically the Morrowind Mafia and they give you a scroll of execution and then you go and kill someone, as soon as the police catch you, you give them the scroll and your free to go, if you’ve stupidly forgotten the scroll then you go to jail. This takes only a couple of seconds but can seriously decrease your hard earned stats, the severity of the punishment depend on the severity of the crime. The biggest criticism I have about Morrowind is the dieing. If you die on Morrowind then you have to load a previously saved and continue from there. There is no hospital. !? if you are running low on health then you can use magic (spells) potions (obviously) or you can rest in the wilderness or in a bed. You can't sleep on the streets or in someone else’s bed. if you try they then attack you. and you get a bounty on your head... This is really annoying because if you have anything stolen (you always do sometimes) then the police take all of the stolen items and some money and then set you free straight away. Elder scrolls three Morrowind is one of them games where when you get started you just cant stop until either your eyes bleed or you collapse under the pressure of wanting to do the missions. The only other criticism apart from all of that is the game is a little unstable and on PC and Xbox the game would crash sometimes and therefore all of the hard work you had put in had then been deleted as you weren’t expecting it to crash and therefore didn’t save it.
