This game has the potential to be great, but the slow loading and limited choices, makes this game only fair. The game is a little too easy to beat, and some great elements of the other Sims games are missing. Relationships are only important until you get all the 'secrets' of that character, then you really don't need to talk to them. The only thing you have to show for a healthy relationship is a full meter. No marriage, no dating, nothing. The game is heavy on do this, then go there, talk to this guy, then go to this other place. The spirit of a good Sims game is missing. There are some humorous bits, and I wouldn't say it's horrible. Just don't expect the tried and true Sims game when playing this.
