the greatest game to ever gracE the circuit boards of the PS2. ROCKSTAR had a tough job to overcome the greatness of vice city and they did just that. the games many good points starting off with the map, the map is huge(twice the size of the vice city map at least) with 3 cities to explore. los santos, san fierro and las venturas. and the very famous badlands. that for me is the main point of the game with miles of road to roam about in without a house in site and then the great mount chiliad where you can do some awesome tricks off it.
Now to the storyline, CJ (carl johnson) is returning to san andreas to find out who killed his mom, only to find out that a person who he has trusted for years tratiors him as cj finds out he is working with the ballas the grove street's sworn enemys. you embark on a journey making enemys. When you thought it coulden't get any better Rockstar come up with this i think they've outdone themselves and they are beginning to run out of ideas. the game has a whole new inventory of cars, planes, boats and bikes.
The games new features include the fact you have a gang called grove street. you can get girlfriends in this game aswell taking her out would be a good idea, another thing about her is that she is really hard to kill.
The only way you can get into the airports is if you have done the licences and at least get bronze in all it's challenges you also get rewards for doing this. one dissapointing factor is that some of the weapons has gone such as the minigun (i heard there is one, and i got a map that showed you where it was, but it's nowhere to be seen. A new factor to the game is the fact that you eat, eat too much and you will get fat, there are a few places where you can choose to eat such as cluckin bell and the burger shot and if you become too fat why not burn off some calories at the local gym learning some moves in the process. everything is explained in the first few missions of the game. when you start off you will see that there is a pushbike in front of you, this is a new feature to the game, the bikes can go at highspeeds and can go faster when you increase your skill.
Turf wars. When you are in a rival gangs territory(indicated by purple on the map) if you kill 3 of their gang members a message will appear saying you have started a gang war. then a bunch of red dots,, indicating your enemies appear on screen, you have to kill all of these. there are three lots of them all together and once you do that the territory will be yours along with some homies guarding it. if your territory ever comes under fire a message will appear on screen and the map will also be flashing red to show you. this game is recommended to anyone and if you dont have an xbox or a ps2 get one so you can get this game, once i finished the game i ralised i only had about 60 0r 70% this is because there are lots of hidden items to find and rewards for every 10 you get. another thing try not to use many cheats with this game as i experienced on two occasions. if you put to many codes a message might appear on screen stating that there is a error on the disc.
