An interesting game, i cant think of too many real time strategy games which have made it focusing on the napoleonic which is a bit of a shame as this period of history seems perfect for that particular type of game. This game is a good effort but for me not quite there. It tries to allow you to control your troops in formations which is certainly a positive but then lets you down by giving you an idiot of an AI opponent who feels they have no use and accordingly uses large groups of troops and sends them at you!!! The AI lets the game down in my opinion, marching nearly the whole of its army around in onr massive column. Nice grahpics and i must say that seeing ships being hit with cannonballs and pieces being blasted off was a nice touch. Overall a solid game but perhaps one which you would be able to live without.
