A very big game. Bighugegames game put in a big effort with this their first outing and give us a game which encompasses a vast time period, from nomadic beginnings to the space age. This game gives you a huge variety in the types of fighting youll take part in and the units are great. The game does provide some mismatches tho as if you advance through the ages quicker than your opponents you could find you advanced nuclear subs wreaking havoc in fleets of wooden sailing ships. The same can be seen on land with tanks fighting pikemen. The games introduces one novel aspect which i thought was magic, that of territorial control. By making the areas under your control expandable and clearly visible you could see what your gains were. On top of this having control over the ground means enemies take attrition damge for being in your territory, a superb idea which hopefully other future games will incorporate. A quality game which will provide a great deal of pleasure to those who play it.
