This is by far the greatest sports game on the market. not only is it incredibly realistic, it is highly addictive and rewarding. One can spend hours upon hours playing this game due to its sheer quality. Greatest player on the game must be Shevchenko, his ability to shoot from long range is immense. Kaka is also one of the best with his ability to run through defences. AC Milan are an unstoppable force on the game, only to be reckoned with giants such as Juventus.

Problems with the game:

Handballs are not recognised. countless times i have been ready to attack the keeper one on one after skinning a defender only to be robbed by a handball from a sliding tackle which is not seen by the referee.

Repetetiveness. The game is highly repetitive when playing against the computer, and the difficulty between 3 and 6 star is extremely marginal.

Kits and Names: You will find that only two kit on the game arsenal and chelsea) are actaully the real kits, however the game does offer to change the kits perfectly, and the real kit codes can be found on the net. It also is annoying for any no chelsea or arsenal fan to see drogba terry and henry at the start of the game. surely steven gerrard or ronaldinho would be much more appealing!

Ridiculous ability: When plaing agains the computer the defenders of the opposing team always seem to have an unbelievably high level of skill in tackling. it takes extreme skill to take on even one defender when playing against the computer which makes it very annoying.

This game rewards practice and skill. it is excellent in the fact that the more taining you undergo the better you get, and is reflected when you play games at higher difficulties. the range of training programs offered is superb, measuring your ability at different stages and different areas of the pitch.

Appearance of players:

Most of the players on the game are very similar to those in real life, especially the big name players e.g. Steven Gerrard.

Range of goals:

Unlike other games, the more skilled players like Shevchenko for example can score from just about anywhere. goals are not always the same and can go in from crazy deflections or 40 yard screamers. there are no "zones" where once the player is positioned in the right place at the right time the ball will go in no matter what. Keepers can make mistakes which is also a bonus.

Free Kicks:

Free Kicks are very realistic in the game. the game gives you an almost real experience of actually taking a free kcik as there are no bars or levers you must stop the power in. it depends completely on how hard you want to hit the ball. it allows you to loft the ball instead of blasting it each time. it allows curve and levels of curve change for different skilled players.

Penalty kicks:

Penalties are somewhat basic in the game. you just select a place to kcick the ball and let the player do the kcking, however even shevchenko can hit the bar on occasion which shows that its not automatic for each player.

Speed:

The game is played at a very high pace. end to end is the name of the game unles two players are completely unevenly matched. goals can be scored single handedly from kick off from one player ripping the opposing game apart to go on to beat the keeper.

Anything is possible on this game and this is why i love it so much. i seriuosly suggest that you buy the game if you havent and you introduce it to your friends becasue youll be addicted and thats a promise!
