Knights of the Old Republic 2 allows for even more freedom of character-building than the original. The story and gameplay are just as engrossing, and the player now has the ability to shape the personalities of not only the main character, but also of his or her comrades. The player's choices affect all around him, as the characters shift from neutral to good or evil, and produce an effect on the player's influence over party members. The combat system is the same as the original's: the player takes a minimal role in actual combat but can intervene to use different abilities and force powers.
