Namco have really done a good job. The game has so much to offer and has so much to it. You can't fault this game as its really good fighting game. There many characters and some have to be unlocked by wining fight modes. It has most of the characters from the last on but instead of the brazilian eddie, it has a brazilian women. Theres so many modes to this game aswell which makes it better and this gives it more time to complete which is good as you have more to do. This makes it more value for money.
The game screen is simpler and much better looking than the other tekkens (As you know by the name its the 5th in its sieres).The screen has a health bar if your getting hurt it will go red. It has play time. This shows you how long you have played and this is abouve the health bar. It has round time this shows you how long is left in the match this is displayed between the 2 helth bars. Under the health bars it has rounds to win. The rounds are first to 2 wind and if you win one it will colour one circle in yellow/orange to show you, how many you have won. And then it has your fighting display under that. So as youve heard its much better than the others this screen is much spread out and cleaner to play. Also theres many new places to play and there all different to each other as one may be in a factory the other may be in a icey place. The background tracks to the game are really good and mankes you more relaxed and into the game. Which is good to have in a game. Theres many modes you can play in. Storry battle. This is where you fight against other and it reveals new charaters if you can do it. Arcade mode. This is where you fight different people and each time they get harder as you go along. Time ataack. Time attack is whereyou try getting in the hall of fame and win the stages as quick as you can. V's mode this is a two player mode and it is reall fun playing with two players. Team battle. This is were you can make a team and fight this can have up to two players aswell. Suvival. I really enjoyed this mode and think its the best mode . In this mode you deafeat as many opponents as you can and you have to get to checkpoints with out dieing.
The games sound is great and a really good aspect of the game. Its so good when fighters like lee make there noises when they kick or when an opponent or you are getting beaten up it sounds all good. The sound fits in really well and goes along with the game especially when you are in different battle places.
The graphics are amazing . The best graphics for a fighting game. There so good.Its all dont it good detail.
The game play is really good. And again its easy to know your controlls like all the other tekkens. The controls are easy to remeber. triangle is to guaed. O is to jump. X is to kick. square is to jump.R1 is to lock on. R2 is to change lock target. L2 os also to change lock target. L1 is to do the characters speical attack. The left analog stick is to move the right analog stick is to control the camera view.
Overall this is a brilliant game and if you like fighting games then i advise this one as its so good. And has many things to do in it.
