Resident Evil 4 (or also know as RE4) is a pretty decent game in all the best points. The visuals are impecibal and unbleiveable to most. The sound was done well to sound like it was all real and the music was creepy and it fits into the scene. The enemy's were a good challenge also based on what level you played the game on. The Playstation version was better in the fact that it had more weapons and unlockables but the gamecube version pulls it's own weight. The price for the Gamecube version is now at a very great price of onley $20. The onley bad thing is, once you get into the swing of things, you can beat the game in 1-2 sittings. Weapons for both versions are very clever and need to be used tactically which is good for a game. Another good point about the weapons are the uprgrades. You have to decide which weapon is the best to upgraid and whitch to hold off on. The aiming system is incredible and the way they made the game so that every point on the body can be shot to harm the enemy. Their aren't many bosses but they are still good chalenges. The story line is very well drawn out from when he receives his mission to rcover the presidents daughter, Ashley, to trying to escape alive. Another good thing for the story is that they brought back charaters from other RE games such as the main character, Leon Kenedy. This game is not for anybody who can be sqweemish because lots of blood is droped and heads come off one way or another. The enemy variety is ok. In the beging all enemys look reletivly the same but half way through they start to where masks which makes it rarly matter to know if their the same or not. And finally, near the end, they lose diversity. In the game thir are lots of treasures to be found and sold for lots of cash at the merchant. They very from gems to objects to old household items. their also clever traps set up to kill, or hurt Leon such as bare traps and explosive trip lines. The cut scenes in the game are clever and keep you on your toes because some time you have to press a certain button or you'll die. The same happens in the game also. In the Gamecube version, their are onley 8 unlockables such as 3 weapons, a new background, a new costume for Leon and Ashley ,and two side missions. The Playstation as at least 8-10. They consist of the same things except 2 more costumes such as an italian mafia costume and a suit of armor. Over all this game pleases and entertains till the end and it is one of the best survival horror game out their. A must have either for the Gamecube or Playstation.
