This game does not particualy follow the series with the tiberium wars.
It follows a terrorist groups (GLA) attacks on the USA and China.
you can play as all three teams and their are campaigns to go with. The U.S.A rely on expensive but very high tech units to out do their oppenents. China uses the sheer might of the red army to overwhelm their enemies. The GLA uses fast and cheap assaults to wear away at their enemies.
This expansion of the generals game allows you to play as one of three generals for each team, as well as the original team.
For U.S.A there is: Malcom "Ace" Granger who utilizes planes to destroy his enemies with legions of air superior units.
"Pin Point" Townes, who uses lazers to fry his enemies, having no tanks but a mobile laser platform. The Super Weapon General has cheaper super weapons, and emp base defences so she can bombard you with particle cannon while you try to penetreate her defence.
For China there is: General Kwai Who has the abilitie to create swarms of superior tanks for less, though infantry and aircraft cost more. General Tao "Nuke" General, all tanks start off with uranium sheels and uranium amrour, nukes are stornger and cheaper, and...air craft drop small nukes when upgraded, thus causing radiation and a large destruction area. Infantry General has minigunners and tank hunters, whom together, can decimate enemy tanks, air craft and infantry in seconds, thus removing the need for gattling cannons, just bunkers filled with mini gunners.
Gla has: Dr Thrax, toxin general, most of is attacks use poison which makes him relitively weak agaisnt tanks, but stoips early infantry ttacks. "Demo" Juhiz uses explosives and bomb trucks to flatten enemy bases. The stealth general is one of the hardest to kill, as ALL of his buildings can be stealthed, meaning you cannot easily find and "Remove" his base.
If you like RTS games then this is for you.
