To be honest I think it is a very average game, nothing to really do in the game at all; even the multi player is dull and disapointing for a adventure which says how bad it is and you can really think how much I don't like the game, although any game has strong points and I can say that the graphics are quite good which is alright but I personally think that the gameplay is the most important thing in any game, and that is the thing that most games lack, although a lot of games have good gameplay which makes me quite happy indeed.
Well what can I say I like the graphics indeed; that is manly the strong point of movie games and that is it, fact and that is soo true. The game did nothing for me at all, but this is the only thing that stood out and that is the only real thing I liked full stop; although it ain't too good it could of bee a lot better considering how poor, some oof the other stuff is in the game, it just dissapointed me in too many ways to me to give it a high mark and personally I hated the game and found it one of the worst I have ever played and that says a lot, I like most of the games I buy. I was so sick and tired of the game that one night I felt like chucking it in the bin; oh it's that bad? Well yeah it is, personally I would only give Over The Hedge 7/10 for graphics.
Well well well the gameplay, the most important thing for a game usually but personally I think the gameplay is absoloute rubbish; I will throw the game in the bin next time I play; oh and that won't happen, unless I'm bored, and I'm not usually bored which says a lot.. I just found the game a total disgrace to waste £30 on, it's just total bobbins, i could of just snapped the cd as soon as i put it in the ps2 and believe me i was stopped, i would of done it, also I don't know why i bought it's a kid game, that's probably why i hate games like that so bad; oh and yeah it's a movie game which makes even worse, well I got to make a final decision now, the gameplay and you know what i've made a decision pretty quick, and i give over rhe hedge for ps2 a total poor mark of what 4/10 yeah that's what i think of it so there, it's all summed up on a plate, i absoloutley hate the graphics it's just poor.
Well kind of a thing i liked really the sound, the voices just sounded like the movie which is pretty good for a movie game wheras with other movie games the sound sounds naff and hard to here; and not the proper voices which actually makes it even worse, but this is for over the hedge, and it is the best thing about the game, okay it's not worthy of a 10 or a 9 but i still think it could get a reasonable mark, so really i come to the conclusion that the game is poor, neverthless i think the sound is pretty good, but then aghain the sound is nothing major so i ain't really bothered at the end of the day, but i would give over the hedge for sound a 8, and that's being kind i could of whipped out a 5 or a 6.
