I have always been a big fan of the Resident Evil series, and had heard all the hype from the Nintendo release, so couldn't wait to play Resident Evil 4.
I was not disappointed. It's a slight departure from the previous games, in that the enemies are not strictly zombies, and it has more of an action feel to the game. The quantity of enemies is greater than before, and they are faster and more intelligent than in previous games, meaning you really have to think on your feet, or you can be overwhelmed very quickly!
The storyline is full of twists, as you would expect, with various characters being introduced to help or hinder you as you progress.
The only slight moan I have with the game was the set button press action sequences. They can be infuriating, as they tend to cause instant death if you hit the wrong button, or are just slightly tool late.
Apart from this, it is a great game, wit plenty of twists and scares to keep you on your toes. A must-play for fans of action and horror games.
