I was always into FIFA until the 2005 edition when things started to drop and I got into pro evo one hell of a lot but come the year after when 2006 was released i was one again pulled over to the FIFA side.
And this year I was chuffed at the FIFA release.
You see, I'm a football fanatic and a season ticket holder at Manchester City so when FIFA was released I had to go out and grab it. I would say it's well worth £25-£30 any day of the week.
The level of realism in the game is unbelievable with all the kits replicated into the game and the players look fab. The gameplay is faboulous and is even closer to the real thing...
....although it's still not as good as playing it with your real feet.
Passing is great and theres a real sense of a good pass when you put a through ball into their defence or play a ball down the line to your winger.
Shooting is also drasticly improved and there are many different types of shots. Hold L + B to play a "fitnesse shot" which is a placed shot. Earlier on today i used that type of shot to score a great goal with Joey Barton.
The manager mode is alot deeper aswell and this time it uses real money.
Here are my scores:
Graphics: Slick and smooth. Great player likenesses and kits and the ball physics are ashtonishing.

Gameplay: Great ball physics make for a real experience and the pace of matches is brilliant. It's a lot more like Pro Evo as its predecessors. Which is good.

Sound: Fab commentry as always and great crowd chants. Plus a really good soundtrack. As usual

Lifespan: Manager mode is really deep and you can get about 20 seasons out of it I think. Plus there's tournaments modes and multiplayer games.

Overall: A great game and (in my opinion) alot better than this years pro evo installment.
