At first I was wary, not usually enjoying this sort of violent game - but on being urged to try it by a gaming friend who knows how I love my computer games, I was of course sucked in and awed immediately at the breadth and scope of this game. Its endless return playability, the exploring, the huge variables in how your character can look, get about, eat, follow the stories & sub-missions all really appeal to me as a female gamer. I love the different shops and only wish you could go into more buildings (tho' of course as a burglar..) & do more stuff inside your own house - c'mon, he's got a kitchen but can't eat at home? The driving simulation is great and the amount of vehicles to be found and mastered is staggering, as is the terrain recreated. I now often put the kids to bed & settle down to an nice evening taking over 'hoods and blowing away dealers (when I'm not reversing over groups of rudeboys in my car, most expedient, I find).
