This is sacrilege! Never in 16 years of gaming experience have I EVER seen such slanderous comments made about a game that has revolutionalised the multiplayer community.
For one, the comment made about the level design being bad is pathetic. The levels created for Halo are extremely balanced and fair to every kind of game mode available. There is however a need for MORE maps but that's it.
Second, the point about the multiplayer being disjointed is rubbish, apart from the fact that it isn't at all specific enough. The gameplay, whether single or multi, is stunningly fluid with change weapon times almost, if not already perfect. The only break fluidity is the turn speed of the character model design, where if you turn in 360 spins the model seems to jump in the animation loop, but un-noticable as it's not like you're going to be doing that in a firefight.
The only dispute that could possibly be concieved with Halo is the lack of XBOX Live!, but taking into consideration of when XBOX was released and the development of the game and the launch of XBOX Live! this is understandable.
I do not usually retalliate against people's views however when a game such as Halo gets slated with absolutley no regard to the effort, time and greatness it deserves, I have no choice but to defend it and put the slander in it's place. No offence to the thoughts and comments of others but this game in particular does not deserve anything less than an outstanding review.
