Having played every Final Fantasy Game released in the UK, I was looking forward to this.

I have given it a score of 6/10 for Graphics, the fact all the heroes are female and for the length of the game. However it has to be said this is not Squaresoft's best - not by a long way! It is too repetitive, and the side games and quests are too many and too long & drawn out. This is the first game of the genre that I have been put of playing because of the side quests. I have not completely finished the game even though I can do so at any time. I go back and forth in-between my other games and keep plodding on.

The very fact that I am playing this game in-between says it all. I have played Final Fantasy 7 about 8 times right through from start to finish and not looked at any other game during this time. X2 Lacks that special something that keeps you going until the very end - the right amount of everything!
