The reason I have given this game such a poor rating is because I never got to play it. Like many, I experienced technical problems, but Activision failed to offer me assistance with solving the issue which caused to game not to work properly.
I searched for an official forum to get some advice, but there wasn't really anything adequate to help someone with the difficulties I faced and nothing much at all really in general.
First, when I attempted to Email Activision, my Emails were returned unsent. I couldn't get support by phone as I have no landline and my mobile has no signal anywhere near my PC, so I phoned from somewhere else to say I couldn't Email them and they sent me an Email to reply to.
I began to supect that they weren't going to help after I sent an email with some details and specs, and then sent another containing some additional info without the other details I'd sent in the first, and they replied to the second email saying they had no record of previous correspondance asking for my specs again.
I continually emailed technical support asking why I wasn't getting any reply and it must have been about after about four weeks that finally they replied again asking for more detailed information. I made absolutely sure I sent them everything, checking through the information carefully to be certain I hadn't omitted anything. That was over two weeks ago, making about a six week wait total, so I have since taken the game back to the shop for a refund and got my money back.
I tried contacting Activision via their corporatate Email to complain, but they never bothered to reply.
I get the impression that they are unprepared to admit that there are serious compatability issues with this game, instead prefering to let people waste their time trying to get software to work which is basically flawed.
