For those of you bored with the samey driving experience on any number of bland (and mainly EA) racing games, you must give GTR2 a try. It's simply the best racing game there is for a racing experience, where the risk is all about not gambling too hard on a corner and going in too fast, than it is about hitting checkpoints or getting past rubber-band AI opponents.

It's racing, it's fun, and it's more accesible than you'd think with the driving aids on (hard-core sims tend to be considered far too punishing), leading you to switch them off gradually as you get used to the game, for more benefit in the fun and racing feedback you get.

I couldn't recommend this game any higher! It ould be a bargain at full price - for the relatviely cheap price it can be picked up from, it's a steal.
