The game starts with you being introduced to the min character, Frank West a freelance photojournalist acting on a tip that something big is happening here in the idyllic town of Willamette Colorado. Not before long you realise that everything isn't as it seems in this small town. The game begins with a great sequence you get to take snapshots of the havoc that the zombies are manifesting in the small town. As you land in the town mall your soon fighting your way through hordes of zombies weilding whatever you can find to save the towns people who are stranded in the mall. The great graphics and the amazing swarm technology really shows you what the xbox 360 is capable of.
