Where do i start?
The only reason i even bought an xbox 360 was to play Gears of War, and it wasn't a mistake.
I have played all kinds of fps games on pc and ps1 ps2 saturn mega drive fro the last 14 years and this is the best i have ever played.
The single player could only be accused of its linear game play but its a game with a mission. It would be no good running in the wrong direction for 2 hours would it? Thats what racing games are for. lol

The graphics are the best i have ever seen and as an avid fan of the UT series i knew when i saw the EPIC label this was gonna be a beast of a game.
The game idea for enemies are top notch from the krull bat like creatures all the way to the beserkers and RAAM himself.
The idea of having to revive your teams mates from injuries is a good one and the fact they cant heal you is even better. otherwise i would have done a "rambo" and ploughed in spraying expecting a plaster on my cuts n bruises :D.
The multiplayer part i have played briefly due to it being on the main TV in the house and wife and kids limit my playing time, thats what my pc is for
But as soon as i get a KVM then its moving to my pc monitor and "let the gaming commence"
If halo 3 is anywhere near the quality of Gears Of War then xbox 360 gamers are sure fire winners in the gaming world.
Any grumbles from me? yeah the wife n kids should be banned from the TV..
