Nowhere near as good as the first. Many of the scenes were so dark that you could not see trouble coming until it was too late. And when you die, in many instances, the restart would take you back several scenes instead of picking up where you died.
Most of the scenes are extremely easy. Rarely did I ever have to repeat a scene more than once or twice. Even the boss scenes were not that challenging. On the other hand, there was one scene (the helicopter scene) that was almost impossible. I was stuck on it for about three days before figuring out the secret.
The one thing that I did like, though, was the fact that they eliminated all of the scenes that had nothing to do with the game. There were a lot of those in the first DTR. But, in the second, every scene was relevant to the game.
