The Sims 2 is a very "weird" game. It shouldn't even have a story mode for its pointless and in free play you should be able to have more than four locations to live in! And if your sim isn’t jubilant enough your sim does worse and gets tired easier and you spend have of your time going to the bathroom and taking a shower or sleeping. Sure you can do the fast forward or get the cheat gnome and do all those cheats but not everyone knows the cheat codes. So those who don't have internet {especially in the country!} or don’t know the cheat codes, it becomes a drag to do all those countless, restless "chores" it just kills all the fun and makes you feel as if though your just playing a game where you work instead play. Not only that when you get a job you have to have friends and that will sometimes feel not as if you want but as if you were being force to, in order to succeed in the game. when you go to work you have nothing to do but to wait until your sim comes back. second of all when you go and change it becomes very difficult to know what you sim is wearing for the icons don’t even look what they really look like. especial when you are choosing pants or a jacket. all the game has is numbers which doesn’t help at all. and then after you spend countless hours figuring out what the icons mean you have to wait even longer for it to load. another thing is that you can WooHoo but you cant have babies or children! its just plain adults in a sim world . another thing is that you only have one season only which is very boring to see day and night with no snow or the leaves changing. and another thing is that you can only buy a certain amount of items which that should have just taken out. for who cares how many objects you buy as long as you have money who cares! and the fire is also ridiculous even thought it's funny to see a sim on a fire, you shouldn’t lose objects just because you have to much. There shouldn’t be a limit. just like there is no limit on how many grammar errors I commit on this review;p anyways moving on!
Now then what’s up with the friends and services. the only thing friends ever do is go to your house eat, leave it to rot, use the w.c. which half of the time they don’t even flush it and leave. then they get mad at you for not talking to them making it harder to get a promotion. and the services all is those is that the maid will work for about an hour then leave. that leaves about twenty two hours. and then it all piles up making you pick it up yourself . but oh well! that’s what I say.
in conclusion if you like a game where you are nothing but a slave with more work then fun then go ahead get it and buy it . do nothing but tried to boring talk and talk and talk to a sim until the sim becomes your friend or lover only to get rejected after countless try to smooch one another. and if have a lot and I mean a lot of patience you might not get bored or angry easily on why it takes forever for the game to load then you too should get it! luckily I have cheat codes so I don’t care I can advance hours easily or even get rich under five minutes and become almost a millionaire if I just had one more dollar but like I say after everything oh well, so I have cheat codes it somewhat relieves anger but you still have the friends, limit of what you buy, fires, time, and the worst to loading but oh well its a game with no real point except those gold goals and whatever color goals. OH WELL!!!
