Pretty good fun. When you've completed the game though, you probably, like me, won't wanna play it again. I thought it was fun with an origional story with lots of good, well animated and textured villains to face. Unfortunately, the main characters, Peter, MJ, Harry, Eddie Brock, JJ etc. looked awful. This doesn't take away from the fun of the game but your like, "Come on Treyarch, get it right!".

The best part about this game is the amazing swing engine. This is the part of the game that never gets old. Truly spectacular. This one of the features which gives it a quality which you know no other game will give.

Another interesting feature is the cut-scene button action. In order for Spidey to do incredible stuff the player could not plausibly do in live action, you must quickly press a sequence of buttons that flash up on the screen so that you can avoid obsticles, swing, attack, evade, all sorts of things. These scenes are not only done brilliantly graphically, but they give you that feeling that you are part of the story, unlike most other games when it snaps to a cut-scene.

I would recommend it, but only if you can afford to splash out, this is by no means a "go-to" game out of the recent releases. It gets a 7 because of those two great features i mentioned, without them, it would be five or six, average.
