"HA! You play Pokemon, let's beat him!" Youy can expect these kinds of comments from chavs whilst playing, but ignore them. You know you've got gaming greatness in your hands, and let them play their FIFA's and car mod games.

Basically, on the surface, it's the same old Pokemon, start with your choice of critter, Squirtle, Charmander, Bulbasaur. The principle remains the same. Beat all gym leaders, take on elite 4, win. Sounds easy, but definitely not. If you play long enough, you'll realise the depth to Pokemon. You'll realsie what those stats actually men, and build your squad and teach moves arounds them. You'll notice the rarities of Pokemon as well, you'll realise the elusiveness of Pikachu in Viridian Forest. When you complete the game, a new world awaits, the 7 islands. These are islands where you can find new pokemon, pokemon from the Kanto region, and a new reason to stomp Team Rocket. Yayness. The game is a typical RPG, it will have you hooked for months. Literally, months. With friends as well, it may never end.
