This game is excellent, the cell shaded character merge well with the rendered back ground, the battling is fast paced and the story though seeming a little corny at first unfolds into a fantastic tale.

The characters themseleves are rich and interesting, from Sheena the head strong summoner to Zelos the self absorbed magic swordsman. I have to admit though when I saw Zelos on the start movie I thought he was a female pirate...

Each of the eight party characters have thier own unique skills and personalities, half the fun is seeing which one you play best as.

The music of the game was brilliant along with the voice acting, though there could've been more scenes with voice acting. The anime clips were vissually stunning and well done they capture the imagination, it is sad there weren't more.

This game has it's ups and downs but when it's all said and down, it has a brilliant story, interesting puzzles and characters you'll love. I give it a well deserved 9.
