Robotech: Battle Cry is a mission driven, third person action game that takes the classic mecha-filled mayhem of the animated series and translates it into an exciting Arcade style 3D shooter. With an incredible variety and mobility of the player's transformable Veritech Fighter, a vehicle that can change from a ground based, 40-foot tall humanoid robot into a high-flying jet fighter craft, the player gets taken on a ride through the Robotech Universe.

Each transformation mode offers new movement options, special abilities, and weapons. The environments and mission objectives are designed to challenge the player's skills in each of the transformation modes, and every mission demands that the player use more than one mode to achieve their assigned objectives. In keeping with the Robotech identity, the environments, mecha, characters and overall appearance are modeled directly from the stylised look of the well-known anime series.
