SpellForce is the latest creation of Phenomic Games, the team behind the world-famous "Settlers" series. Spellforce marries the RPG and RTS genres together to give an Innovative new game experience. Spellforce takes place in an awe-inspiring 3D environment. The player can control huge armies via an isometric view and then zoom into a first person mode to control individual units.

Spellforce also introduces the Click'n'Fight combat system. This revolutionary control system guarantees instant action, the best possible overview and completely new tactical possibilities in battle. The game features a gripping storyline with a myriad of sub-quests. Players can recruit an army from six different races that can be used simultaneously to build settlements and fight battles. The world is further populated by over 30 different enemy races. Spellforce has been described in the press as "a splendid mix of Warcraft 3 and Dungeon Siege."
