Manufacturers Description
This game features two games in one, the complete Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) game plus an all-new first-ever multiplayer Zelda game - Four Swords! In the one-player mode (A Link to the Past), Link receives a telepathic message from Zelda, imploring him to help. He must find the Master Sword, then travel to the Dark World to defeat Ganon and restore peace to the land of Hyrule. In the multiplayer game (Four Swords), between two to four players take on the roles of young adventurers who answer a challenge from the Triforce. They must brave the dangers of multiple dungeons in a quest to find the Master Sword. Their strength will be tested by fierce monsters, their wisdom tested by complex puzzles, and their courage tested by having to cooperate with each other to overcome obstacles.

A Link to the Past: Adventure gaming at its finest, A Link to the Past seamlessly mixes brain-bending puzzles and supreme swashbuckling action. Link travels between the Light World and the Dark World, conquering fierce monsters and uncovering Hyrule's deepest secrets along the way. This is one of Link's most challenging adventures of all time!

Four Swords: Up to four players can cooperate and compete in Four Swords - where four Links fight together through some of the most wicked dungeons ever seen. Four Swords is the very first multiplayer Zelda game, and it doesn't disappoint.

Since The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is on the same Game Pak as Four Swords, what you do in one game affects game play in the other. If you learn a new sword move such as the Beam Sword attack in A Link to the Past, you can use the special move during your adventures in Four Swords.
